Foreign tourists and local tourists has made Raja Ampat one of desirable tourist destination to visit. However, a distant location factors in the eastern part of Indonesia, the expensive cost is one of the factor that limits interest to traveling there.
There are four major islands in Raja Ampat, namely Batanta, Salawati, Missool, and Waigeo, besides another 600 small islands nearby. That is why it will required high transport costs to visit each island.

When you arrive in Raja Ampat you could feel the excitement. You will see people instantly praise the name of God because enchanted scenery outside. Or else you fell stunned silence as you see a speck of heaven in formed of crystal clear seas with gentle waves sweeping white sand.
Some well-known Raja Ampat Resort put fairly high rates paid in dollars. It's because of the most the tourists who come to stay are from Europe, so it is normal that they put tariffs like that.
But, we could save money choosing in at Raja Ampat. Do not stay in foreign nationals owned resorts, but it best that you stay in local's house or home stays. There are nearby villages like Yenbuba, Sawinggrai, Arborek and others, they have a home stay for the visitors and relatively cheap.
You could find local guides here is worked as an ordinary fisherman. These fishermen are usually accustomed to outsiders who come to visit the Raja Ampat, they are very friendly, especially if we give something like candy or fruits. Giving candy in here is considered good manners and will raises the smile of those fishermen.
Visiting Raja Ampat is almost like a dream, the beautiful scenery just as good as illusions. You could observe it when you dive underwater you will see the cute of marine animals that greet. Just like Pygmy sea horses will be approached as if wanna greet and make shake hands.The Mantaray and wobbegong will swim along with you. Barracuda, giant trevaliies, snapper, Tuna and even welcomed you under the sea. Do not miss the opportunity to observe the busy little fish keep its territory and forth. And If you are lucky enough you will be able to swim with sea turtles.
Its Natural beauty, and completely untouched is the main attraction here. I do not have praise the beauty of blue sky and the lush verdant island, This is a tropical paradise which rich of marine bio diversity in the world today.
You can also do trekking activity around the woods along the shore. You can see a variety of birds and nature orchids attached to the cliffs and trees. Make a note, that Kri island was deserted island, there was no settlement on the island, nor is there any available stalls to sell daily necessities.
For a comfortable travel, it is recommend to bring additional supplies such as bread, coffee, chocolate, and pastries for snacks, couple bottles of mineral water which it could be refilled at Home Stay Kitchen. Do not forget to bring a small flashlight because the flame generator only work from 18:00 to 22:00 pm, also toiletries, towels, hats, mosquito repellent, and UV glasses.

Gili Trawangan: The finest island with beautiful underwater world
Beside Bali, one tourist destination target is Gili Trawangan in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The island is in the Desa Gili Indah, Kabupaten Lombok Barat has a million charm, starting from the underwater to the friendly locals.

Bunaken Marine Park: The golden triangle the world's coral reefs
Manado has a prime tourist destination called Bunaken marine park and one of the most beautiful marine park in the world. There are so many varieties of coral reefs and marine life lives in Bunaken marine park. For someone who like to travel underwater, Bunaken marine could be one of the recommended places for you.
Bunaken Marine Park has very rich coral reef ecosystem. There are about 390 species of coral reefs found in that region. The Algae species that could be found in the Bunaken Marine Park is Caulerpa, Halimeda and Padina, in the other hand seaweed species were found are Thalassia hemprichii, Enhallus acoroides, and Thalassaodendron ciliatum. Bunaken Marine Park also has many varieties of fish spices, marine mammals, reptiles, birds, mollusks and mangrove. It's around 90 of fish species live in this marine park.

This marine park also offers another beautiful of the great underwater walls or huge rock wall, which stands curved upwards.
Bunaken marine park is located in the Kelurahan Bunaken Kecamatan Bunaken in Manado, North Sulawesi. Bunaken is about 7 miles from the port of Manado and can be taken about 50 minutes using a twin-engine motor boat or just about 35 minutes if you are using a speed boat.

Toba Lake: The Gold Fish Folklore
Toba Lake is the volcanic Lake which has 100 km length and 30 km width located at North Sumatera Province Indonesia. This lake is the biggest lake in Indonesia and South East Asia. In the center of the lake there is small island called Samosir Island. Toba Lake already known main tourist destination In North Sumatera besides Lawang Hill, Berastagi and Nias, it attracts domestics and foreign tourist.
It’s around 73.000 - 75.000 years ago there is a supervulcanic eruption made this lake. That is the biggest eruption ever, the explosion threw out at least 2.800 km3 volcanic material, 800 km3 Ignimbrit stones and 2.000 km3 volcanic ashes which are occurred in two weeks. Almost 60% human population nearby was wipe out during that time. It also made a huge crater. along with the time the crater filled with water and became the Toba lake.
The Danau Toba Folklore came from the God curse. Once upon a time there is a village in Sumatera. A farmer lives in village, he work hard but he chooses to live alone although his age is enough of him to get marry. In a beautiful morning the farmer fishing at the nearby river, he wonders “I hope I could catch a big fish today”. After he cast of his pole, he thinks that a fish bite the bait. He found out that a Big Fish has caught.
He was amazed with the beautiful fish scale, It has golden red colored. It’s rounded eyes is so shinny. “Please wait do not eat me, I will accompany you everywhere if you promise not to eat me”. The farmer shocked to hear the fish voice. Because of it, the fish fall down on the floor. A few second later the fish into really beautiful girl. “Have I dream?” the farmer wonders.
“Don’t be afraid mister, I am also human just like you. I owe you because you saved from the God curse” said that girl. “My name is Puteri, and I do not mind to be your wife” she said it with smile. The farmer agreed to marry her, then they became husband and wife. But there is a promise that must obey. They must never they tell story about Puteri came from the fish. If they broke it there will a huge disaster happen.
Arrived at the farmer village, The villager amazed the beautiful girl walk along with the farmer. “She might be an angel come from the sky” they said. The farmer lives happily, as a good husband He worked hard on his field. Because of his effort he could lived in good condition. So many people envious of him and wanted to discouraged the farmer success. “They might be using some magic” said some of the villager. But the couple ignored them, never got annoy and even worked harder.
A year later the couple had more happiness because Puteri gave a birth boy baby. They named it Putera. He grown up to be a healthy and strong boy, he is cute but naughty. He got habit that made his parent confused, that he always felt hungry. He ate three times a normal people do.
Putera always made his father annoy. He always reject to help his parent work. His wife reminded him to be patient for his son behavior. “I’ll be patient, but somehow he is our only son” said the farmer to his wife. “Thanks dear if you have some thoughts like that, you are really a good husband and a good dad” Puteri said with compliment
Some said patience has a limit. That is How the farmer felt. Some day Putera got a job to bring the food and drinks to field where his dad worked. But Putera did not do his duty, The farmer wait for his son coming with his starve and thirst. He went home and saw Putera playing ball. The farmer got mad and pull his ear. “ungrateful kids! You son of a fish!” swear the farmer never realizes already broke the promise
After he said the words, his wife and his son went suddenly without a trace. From his foot marked of his standing, a water came from it and sprayed it hard. Few hours later The Farmer village has flooded with the water. Drowned by the water made the place became a lake. And the named Toba the small island at the center named Samosir.

Candi Borobudur: Indonesian Heritage
Candi Borobodur is the biggest Budha Monument in the World, It was built by King Samaratungga from Wangsa Syailendra in the year 824. According to Kayumwungan prasasti, an Indonesian man named Hudaya Kandahjaya said that Borobudur is a religious place that built in 26 May 824, This candi is located in Magelang Central Java, on hill areas between of two mountain, Sindoro Sumbing Mountain at North West and Merbabu Mountain at North East.

The Borobudur has 10 floor with 42 meters height before
renovation, now it has 34,5 meter because the foundation built in the lowest
ground. Candi Borobudur has 2672 relief panel on it's wall and originally has
504 Budha statue. You could read the relief by walking clockwise starting from
the left of candi entrance. It told the story of Legendary Ramayana.All of the
relief have the meanings of the Budha teachings and trying to educate people
who really want to learn about the Budha teachings.

In this Candi consist of three layers, there are Kamadhatu, Rupadhatu and Arupadhatu. Kamadhatu is the lowest of the Candi which it's mean that the world conquered with the lowest lust. That layer mostly covered by the stone to strengthen the Candi construction. It was about 160 reliefs that visualize the Kharmawibangga news, but some of now close off. Rupadhatu is almost the same like other but it has the four alley, the wall has 1300 relief told the story of Rupadhatu when the world can escape from its lust but still bind figures and forms. The last layer is Aruphadatu which there is no relief on it's wall. It told the story that when world has escaped from every lust but could not reach the Nirvana.

Kuta Beach: It changed
Many foreign people know the tourism spot Kuta Beach at Bali Island. Couple years ago Kuta Beach was the nicest place to enjoy a beach's wind breeze. But now it becomes a lost paradise that so many trashes around make it like a watery landfill. Make it to think twice to swim and play beach sands.
When the nightfall come the street full of the holiday maker drunk and sometimes they poured beer and their vomit on the sidewalk... Well that is just small of the Kuta Region. Although I do not recommend Kuta as the Primary Resort Town, but this place really popular with the Australians.
If you really want to learn to surf, Kuta Beach is a good place for the beginner to learn surfing because there are surfing school nearby I just do not remember its name. Also you could rent surf board at the Beach, I advise you have to bargain the rent price look for the cheapest one.
Kuta is located 2 miles from Ngurah Rai Airport. The commercial buildings like Hotels, Restaurant, Discotique and Night Clubs are already populate Kuta and maybe will continue to develop more. Some of my foreign friends who already visit Kuta said that "the streets of Kuta look as the same part of Cancun the sleaziest areas of Las Vegas"
Do not get discourage because there are so many places beside Kuta that exactly more interesting to visit such as Legian or Sanur that offer most quiet experience, Tuban which is perfect for a family outing and many to write in

When the nightfall come the street full of the holiday maker drunk and sometimes they poured beer and their vomit on the sidewalk... Well that is just small of the Kuta Region. Although I do not recommend Kuta as the Primary Resort Town, but this place really popular with the Australians.
If you really want to learn to surf, Kuta Beach is a good place for the beginner to learn surfing because there are surfing school nearby I just do not remember its name. Also you could rent surf board at the Beach, I advise you have to bargain the rent price look for the cheapest one.
Kuta is located 2 miles from Ngurah Rai Airport. The commercial buildings like Hotels, Restaurant, Discotique and Night Clubs are already populate Kuta and maybe will continue to develop more. Some of my foreign friends who already visit Kuta said that "the streets of Kuta look as the same part of Cancun the sleaziest areas of Las Vegas"
Do not get discourage because there are so many places beside Kuta that exactly more interesting to visit such as Legian or Sanur that offer most quiet experience, Tuban which is perfect for a family outing and many to write in

1. Waterbom Bali, Water theme park open from 09:00 – 18:00.
2. Kuta Theater, shows Bali cultural dances, 75m north from waterbom Bali. First show 17:00 second show 19:00
3. Ground Zero Monument. the places of bombing tragedy on Legian Kuta that killed 202 lives, 88 Australians, 38 Indonesian, 7 American dan 6 Swedish
4. Beachwalk Bali, One of the good design mall that combines modern and traditional.
